Cyano-tapas: Art and Small Plates!
Gearing up for the second round of art night! For this event, we will be making art using a vintage photographic method called cyanotype, where the paper is pre-treated with a chemical sensitizer and laid out in the sun to "print."
The second part of the title, tapas, refers to a glorious Spanish tradition of enjoying appetizers with friends between sips of a favored beverage.
All art abilities are welcome! Whether you've been doing art for 20 years or can't remember the last time you picked up a brush, you can take the method in your own direction and challenge yourself as much or as little as you want. My goal is to help you create something that you love, and as an art teacher for people with disabilities, I promise you can do it!
This is a 21+ event. Wine will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own drinks as well.
